Lady Liberty is a conquering goddess, at war with many of the gods of old. Her weapons are the twin glories of light itself and the shining truth that all mankind is one. Her most classic image is that of the Statue of Liberty, but like most gods, she can look any way she wants, as long as that image is reflective of her essence.
She was once a beaten down whore…literally. She was the first victim of the crimes that spawned the United States of America, even if she is not the greatest. She was forced to marry a criminal and sent against her will to the United States after being arrested for prostitution. She was desperate. The King, that ancient spirit of tolerated tyranny, did not care.
She is a wounded goddess, though not in any way that leaves a physical mark. She was birthed from uncounted acts of violence. She is fundamentally motivated by the resolve to not be hurt again. She is willing to kill and die for the freedom she has found.
She is the most beautiful woman that ever was or will be, but for God's own mother. She is charming, confident, and generally seeks to spare others her own traumas. She is ruthless and devious, willing to do anything to defend herself and those she loves.
